TRADING PROGRAMS (PLATFORM TRADING, HIGH YIELD PRIVATE PLACEMENT PROGRAMS) Chartwell and its partners have direct access to trading platforms and high yield private placement programs. These platform trading programs are available only to high net worth individuals who are able to maintain a bank balance of at least One Million Dollars in their own account in a major bank during the trading period. It is also possible to participate in platform trading programs with a minimum of $1,000,000 in gold assets provided they are secure in a recognized safe keeping facility as evidenced by a safe keeping receipt (SKR). In either case, the cash account (checking, savings, CD) or gold asset remain under the complete and exclusive control of the investor and are never subject to any pledge, lien or other encumbrance. That being the case, the programs are essentially risk free. Yields for platform trading programs are substantially higher than with conventionally available investments, however, there are strict access rules and participants are subject to rigorous compliance requirements. It must be established that the assets are owned free and clear by the investor and are of non--criminal origin. Leased or borrowed assets are not permissible for platform trading programs. To obtain additional information regarding platform trading programs, a formal request must be made and a non-disclosure/non-circumvention agreement will be required.
